Government VAT in Cape Verde is 15%

A Tourism Tax of 2.5€ (276 CVE) applies to all Adults (from 16 years old onwards) staying overnight in any hotel in Cape Verde for up to 10 nights.

If you have previously stayed in another hotel and have paid already the tourism taxes there, the same tax will apply in the new stay.
